The idea for Mink & Manure came to be while out chasing cows on horseback one gorgeous summer evening. As we were multitasking our way through gossiping about clothes and shopping while keeping our eyes peeled for hidden calves and listening to our husbands yell incomprehensible instructions from 2 miles away, we discovered a similarity in our tastes and frustrations. When shopping, to find "our style", we both found it irritating that we had to hit a thousand different stores to come up with a look that was both chic and western. Wouldn’t it be great, we thought, to be able to go to one store and find both! And so the concept of Mink & Manure began to grow...

If we were the type of women who wore Chanel lip-gloss and rubber boots, there must be thousands of other women out there the same. So here we are...bringing together looks hot off the runway with those western styled items that posh farm wives can’t live without!

We are here to celebrate you...the women with the perfectly arched eyebrows hidden under toques in -30 degree weather, the ones with neatly manicured nails in leather gloves helping pound posts and stretch wire. Those of us wearing designer sunglasses while mowing the lawn and who’s brand-new espadrille shoes get a workout on the way home from town because 35J (that brockle-faced psycho cow) got out AGAIN!

Mink & Manure celebrates all women - especially the wives who can pull together a meal for a starving husband, hired man and four kids while still looking like the diva that she is. Being a wife and mother myself, I know how busy life can be, so not only to we have a Boutique nearby, but we will bring Mink & Manure to you! Constantly on the road showing off our line at Trunk Shows, Rodeos, Cattle Shows and Trade Shows all across Alberta, we can bring the fabulous fun of shopping to your front door!

Hosting a Trunk Show allows you to enjoy shopping with all your girlfriends together, a beverage in hand and some great conversation!
